A Random Walk Down Wall Street

A Random Walk Down Wall Street is the best investing book for anyone for anyone who wants to invest indirectly in the market through mutual funds, index funds, money markets, and so on.

This is not a book about picking stocks. If anything, it argues that the best stock pickers are essentially monkeys typing at keyboards who eventually create Hamlet through chance.

However we are all investors in the market indirectly through our 401(k) and other retirement savings vehicles. If you don’t know how to manage your savings, you are pissing your money away. The good news is that it is dead-simple. Jump straight to Chapter 12 if you want quick answers.

If you haven’t read this investing book yet, don’t bother reading any others.
