How do I Merge RSS Feeds?

Does anyone know of a web-based service that can merge a bunch of RSS feeds into a single feed? That is, I type in a list of RSS feeds and this service merges them together into a single super-feed?

One would think that FeedBurner or somebody would offer this but I can’t find it anywhere.

I have an idea for something I want to develop with this technology. Of course, I will launch it here.

Update: A couple users pointed me to RSS Mix. RSS Mix works but it is a little buggy so any other suggestions would be sweet. Hat tip to Mike and another reader whose comment I accidently deleted.

Update II: After some research, I have decided to use SuperBlog. It seems to work the best. I also considered FeedJumbler and feedmarker closely. RSS Mix did not compare favorably to these. I wouldn’t even bother with Blogdigger Groups and Feedster Feedpaper. These didn’t really work.

Update III: The project I needed this RSS Merge technology for has been launched.

  1. Already seen this service I presume … not exactly what you are looking for, but in the right genre … http://www.burningdoor.com/feedburner/archives/000683.html

  2. I think PubSub might be your best bet (disclaimer: I work there). PubSub allows you to easily subscribe to keywords, but you can also subscribe to a full feed using SOURCE:domainx. So to create a “superfeed” you can use a query like SOURCE:nytimes.com OR SOURCE:washingtonpost.com OR SOURCE:wsj.com.

  3. You could use http://www.egorfeed.com – we created it to make master feeds for our internal use. It will be officially launched on Monday and called http://www.frankenfeed.com – it looks like you found other solutions, but I would be remiss if I didn’t pimp our WebWorks team’s project.
